Caught stealing and dragged before Lady Esteria, you're offered a deal instead of a cell: work for her as adventurers, complete the quests she assigns, and slowly earn your way toward freedom. You begin as the lowest-ranking adventurers in the kingdom and get sent on increasingly dangerous expeditions to recover lost artifacts, valuables, supplies, and occasionally some rather unusual objects for the Queen and the people around her.
Between quests you return to the tavern that serves as your home base — talk to the locals, buy equipment, get ready for the next run, and spend time with the rest of your party. Then it's back into the caves and dungeons, where there are monsters, traps, environmental dangers, useful and frankly ridiculous items, and every opportunity for things to go horribly wrong.
If the entire party dies on an expedition, the run is lost and you try again.
Cozy chaos, replayable runs, characters with actual personality.
- A friendslop game: the chaotic co-op loop of Lethal Company and R.E.P.O., moved into a medieval fantasy world — the fun is doing it with friends and watching it go wrong
- Stylized low-poly art, hand-made — no generative AI anywhere in the project
- The tavern hub between runs, kept by Pebble
- A cast of voiced NPCs, from the patronising Queen to the merchant you shouldn't trust
- Comedy on the surface, a world underneath that's meant to be worth caring about
The goal: a group of completely unqualified adventurers somehow surviving long enough to become actual heroes. Or at least long enough to get paid.
