The small print ▸ privacy

Privacy

Plain language about what this site, our Discord bot and our payment setup do with information about you.

Who we are

Nimbus Hollow Productions makes games. This site is nimbushollowprod.com. For anything about your data, email soraishollow@nimbushollowprod.com.

This website

The pages themselves set no cookies and run no analytics or advertising. The site is hosted by Railway, whose servers keep ordinary access logs (the address a request came from, the page asked for, and when), as any web host does.

Things embedded from elsewhere

  • YouTube videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube sets no cookies until you press play. From then on Google’s privacy policy applies.
  • itch.io, Kickstarter, Discord and PayPal are separate services with their own policies. Links to them take you off this site.

Donations and membership

Payments are handled by PayPal. We never see your card or bank details. For a donation, PayPal tells us the amount, and we thank donors without naming them.

To become a member you sign in with Discord. Discord gives us your Discord ID, username and avatar, and we store the ID together with your PayPal subscription ID and its dates. That is what lets Pebble, our Discord bot, give you the VIP role and take it back when a membership ends. A cookie keeps you signed in on the membership page for up to seven days. Cancel a membership from your PayPal account at any time.

Pebble, our Discord bot

Servers that add Pebble choose her settings, and she keeps those plus the game data members build up in her games: levels, gold, catches, things made in the workshop, event replies and ticket records. Birthdays, if a member tells her one, store the day and month only, never the year.

In channels where a server’s staff have switched on chatting with Pebble, the messages she replies to are sent to Anthropic, the company whose AI model writes her replies, under their privacy policy. She keeps a short memory of each channel so the conversation makes sense, and nothing older than that.

Your choices

Email us to see what we hold about you or to have it deleted. Leaving a Discord server stops Pebble collecting anything new about you there. We don’t sell data, and we only share it with the services named above, for the purposes described.

Children

The site and the Discord community are for people old enough to use Discord, which is 13 in most countries and older in some.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date.
